Daniel Kiely is a partner in the asset finance and leasing team within our Financial Services team. Daniel has obtained an extensive knowledge of the aviation industry having completed secondments with an operating lessor in Shannon, Ireland and also with the national British export credit agency in London where he advised on the export credit agency supported financing of Airbus aircraft. He has also lectured in banking and aviation law in the Law Society of Ireland.

With a particular focus on aviation, he advises international corporates, financial institutions, export credit agencies, lessees, lessors (both engine and aircraft) and airlines on all aspects of cross-border asset financing and leasing.

  • Interjet Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft financing – this transaction received a special award from the Global Transport Finance Magazine in recognition of the most innovative financing transaction and the best contribution to the aviation transport finance industry in 2014.
