Niamh Caffrey


Niamh is a Partner in our tax team. She advises Irish and international clients on tax law and tax planning in the context of mergers and acquisitions including, IPOs, MBOs, joint ventures and equity investments, corporate reorganisations, cross-border tax structuring, international tax, investment in real estate and debt issuances.

Niamh has extensive experience spanning a number of sectors including international trade, pharma, healthcare, life sciences, IP exploitation, renewable energy, data centres, technology and financial services.

She has a particular focus on advising financial institutions, corporates, alternate lenders, asset managers and investment firms on tax matters relevant to financing and financial services tax, including establishing investment funds, structured finance and securitisation transactions.

  • Real estate investment funds and promoters on the tax structuring of commercial property investment in Ireland

  • US multi-national on repatriation of business operations and global fund management and investment fund on transfer of operations.
