The new seven-year debt structure refinances the previous financing package raised in 2022. It also includes a capital expenditure facility to support Mater Private Network’s continued growth and investment programme.
The syndicate comprised AIB, Bank of Ireland, Intesa Sanpaolo, Nord/LB and Alpha Bank. It also included funds managed by institutional infrastructure debt investors BNP Paribas Asset Management and Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management.
Mater Private Network operates across 11 locations in Ireland and is backed by InfraVia, a leading European private equity firm specialising in infrastructure and technology investments. InfraVia previously acquired the Mater Private Group in 2018.
Commenting on the transaction, Karol Fox, Partner in our Banking team, said:
We are proud to have advised the syndicate of lenders on this significant refinancing in the Irish market. The transaction brought together leading domestic and international banks alongside institutional infrastructure debt investors. Its successful completion reflects strong lender confidence in Mater Private Network and provides a robust platform for its continued investment and growth.”
