Senior Associate

Sarah is a Senior Associate in our Financial Services team, specialising in Financial Services Regulations and Investment Funds.

Sarah advises a wide range of clients on all licensing and regulatory issues. Sarah’s clients include credit institutions, insurance undertakings, payment institutions, investment firms and those looking to operate in Ireland for the first time.

Sarah also advises clients on the establishment, authorisation, operation and maintenance of Irish regulated funds including UCITS, non-UCITS and hedge funds. Sarah also advises a variety of fund service providers, including administrators and depositaries, on various issues and on all regulatory issues pertaining to funds.

Representative Matters

  • Advising clients on the process for authorisation as a payment institution and assisting with the preparation of applications.
  • Advising insurance undertakings on Solvency II requirements and assisting with the preparation of policy frameworks and procedures.
  • Establishing a Qualifying Investor Alternative Investment Fund (QIAIF) for an asset manager in the acquisition of Ireland's largest building.
