Sinéad Power


Sinéad is a Partner on our Dispute Resolution team. She works with commercial clients to prevent, work through and resolve disputes.

She has a particular focus on the financial services sector, providing strategic advice and support to stakeholders and in-house counsel in financial institutions and private equity funds. Sinéad guides clients through the complexities of disputes and complaint handling. She has extensive experience in dealing with litigation and regulatory issues arising on both the buy and sell side of loan portfolio sales.

She also has broad expertise in resolving corporate and contractual disputes, to include injunction applications, warranty claims, commercial agents and professional negligence. She has managed large scale discovery and due diligence projects.

Representative Matters

  • Advised Permanent tsb on the €2.1bn Project Glas loan portfolio sale, the largest non-performing sale of its kind in the Irish market.
  • Advised a receiver in a successful High Court injunction securing possession of valuable rental properties.
  • Acted for a number of financial institutions in the defence of a wide range of proceedings issued by borrowers.
