Frank O’Flynn


Frank is a partner in our Corporate team. His corporate practice focuses on advising Irish and international businesses on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, reorganisations and fundraisings.

Frank is also a significantly experienced energy and projects lawyer and has advised on the development, financing and operation of energy and infrastructure projects and associated contractual arrangements in Ireland and internationally for over twenty years.

Prior to joining the Firm in 2015, Frank served as a partner of another Irish corporate practice and as an energy and project finance lawyer with leading UK and US firms.

Frank is a member of the board of the National Oil Reserves Agency.

Representative Matters

  • Acted for Element Power Ireland Limited on the acquisition of two wind farm projects from SSE plc, Toberatoreen Wind Farm and the Beananaspuck Wind Farm, which together became known as the Kilathmoy Wind Farm.
  • Acted for DiaSorin S.p.A., global leader in the market for in vitro diagnostics, in the sale of two molecular extraction business lines from its Irish operation, DiaSorin Ireland Limited, to Hain Lifescience GmbH. 
  • Acted for Greencoat Renewables PLC on the acquisition of Tullynamoyle Wind Farm II Limited from its Irish and German shareholders.
