Barry Walsh


Barry is a Partner in our Financial Services department where he advises institutional and private clients on a wide range of domestic and cross border finance transactions including secured and unsecured lending, property finance and project finance, with a focus on projects in the renewable energy sector.

Barry has also gained experience in dealing with multi-jurisdictional finance transactions and regularly advises foreign corporates and lenders on Irish banking and financial services law.

Representative Matters

  • Acted for National Australia Bank in its financing of a portfolio of 8 operational wind farms. 
  • Acting for an investor in the development financing of student accommodation premises.
  • Advised Bank of Ireland in financing and re-financing the acquisition of a landmark multi-unit residential developments by a US sponsored ICAV with a number of sub-funds.
