We are delighted to sponsor the Wind Energy Ireland Annual Conference, which takes place virtually from 13 - 15 April 2021. The theme of the conference is No. 1 by 2025: Ireland's Number 1 Power Source by 2025.
Under Ireland’s interim climate targets, renewable electricity in Ireland needs to be at 52% by 2025 and this will be predominantly made up of wind energy. Throughout the three-day conference, expert speakers will highlight how critical the next five years are to achieving this goal, along with Ireland’s 70% renewable target by 2030 and longer term zero carbon targets for 2050.
Eoin Cassidy, Partner, Energy, Utilities & Projects, Mason Hayes & Curran LLP, will introduce the keynote session with Minister Eamon Ryan on Day Two of the conference, and Deirdre Nagle, Partner & Head of Planning & Environmental Law, Mason Hayes & Curran LLP will also deliver a talk on Day Two on Improving Ireland's Consenting Processes: A legal Perspective.
