Webinar: World Energy Outlook & European Green Deal
Event Date: 03 November 2020
We are delighted to invite you to an online event on Tuesday 3 November from 1.30pm to 2.45pm (Irish time) looking at the European Green Deal in the context of the global energy outlook.
The Green Deal, which was announced last December, will work towards a carbon-neutral continent by 2050. This ‘first of its kind’ package includes key policies aimed at ambitiously cutting emissions, investing in cutting-edge research and innovation and preserving Europe’s natural environment. Our panel of expert speakers will discuss what this means for Ireland as we move towards the end of a very turbulent year for the country and the economy. We will also be joined by the International Energy Agency who will share details of their recent World Energy Outlook 2020 report.
1.30pm – Welcome & Introduction – Eoin Cassidy, Energy Partner, Mason Hayes & Curran LLP
1.35pm - World Energy Outlook 2020 – Kieran McNamara, Senior Analyst, International Energy Agency and Peter McLay, Energy Partner, Mason Hayes & Curran LLP

Occasionally we send breaking news bulletins on significant developments affecting you and your business. We want to ensure you are never overwhelmed with information, so we rarely send more than two emails a month.
We also host a number of business briefing webinars. Our ‘In House Counsel Masterclass’ series is tailored to lawyers working in busy organisations that need to stay informed on industry best practice and new legal developments.
