Trainee Programme

Our traineeship provides the opportunity to learn from experienced lawyers and work with clients on complex matters. By the end of your traineeship, you will have developed a well-rounded understanding of the legal landscape and a strong foundation for your future career.

Work closely with Partners, Associates and experienced lawyers from day one. Our trainee intake ensures that every trainee receives the guidance and support needed to develop and succeed. Our traineeship is designed to complement the training provided by the Law Society, it helps trainees build the legal and commercial skills required to succeed throughout their traineeship and beyond qualification.

Our trainees can also undertake Advanced Electives through the Law Society enabling them to explore specialist areas of interest and further enhance their legal expertise throughout their Traineeship. As part of our commitment to trainee development, we cover the cost of these electives.

Through experience, we have found that the best way to assess suitability for a traineeship is through our Internship Programme. Our Internship Programme provides valuable insight into life at our firm and allows candidates to experience the work of a future trainee solicitor.

Trainees complete five rotations across a range of practice areas, allowing trainees to explore different areas of law.

In addition to mentoring and regular feedback, trainees participate in our dedicated Trainee Development Programme. We also cover the cost of any Advanced Electives undertaken through the Law Society as part of our commitment to professional development.

Yes. We cover Law Society fees and provide a competitive salary and benefits package throughout the traineeship, including while trainees are attending Blackhall Place.

There may be opportunities to gain international experience during your traineeship. Depending on business needs and availability, this can include working with colleagues in our London office and across our wider international network.
