Our Trainee Programme is supported by our collaborative and friendly working environment. Trainees gain hands-on experience, working closely with market-leading lawyers.

We invest in our trainees through a well-structured development programme. As a trainee, you will complete five rotations, work with clients and gain exposure to a broad range of practice areas while building the skills and experience needed for a successful legal career.

We are committed to supporting our trainees throughout their path to qualification. As a trainee, we will cover your Law Society fees. We will also provide a competitive salary and benefits package throughout your journey to qualification, including while you attend Blackhall Place.

How is our traineeship different?

Our traineeship provides the opportunity to learn from experienced lawyers and work with clients on complex matters. By the end of your traineeship, you will have developed a well-rounded understanding of the legal landscape and a strong foundation for your future career.

Work closely with Partners, Associates and experienced lawyers from day one. Our trainee intake ensures that every trainee receives the guidance and support needed to develop and succeed. A defining feature of training at Mason Hayes & Curran is our collaborative and approachable culture. Colleagues across the firm are invested in helping you grow, while our open-plan working environment creates daily opportunities to learn and collaborate.

Our traineeship is designed to complement the training provided by the Law Society, it helps trainees build the legal and commercial skills required to succeed throughout their traineeship and beyond qualification.

Our trainees can also undertake Advanced Electives through the Law Society enabling them to explore specialist areas of interest and further enhance their legal expertise throughout their Traineeship. As part of our commitment to trainee development, we cover the cost of these electives.
