We are fortunate to have one of the most important corporate art collections of Irish and International contemporary art in Dublin. Included in the collection is “New York View 2008 by Abigail O’Brien. Liam Guidera, Partner in our Dispute Resolution team, tells us why he has chosen this piece:

“This beautiful print, painting – like in quality, captures for me the essence of Manhattan; monuments to Mammon, canyons of glass. The reflections of the surrounding towers create a shimmering illusion. When you look closely at the roof in the foreground what appears as a pool is in fact lodged snow, fleeting and temporal. The colours are cool and limpid and contrast with the mellow brownstone building reflected in the façade of its modern neighbour. It is hard to discern reality from illusion. Perhaps, as the song goes, New York is a state of mind.”

Support of the visual arts is a large part of our CSR strategy and we are a long-time supporter of “Business to Arts”, whose aim is to broker, enable and support creative partnerships between business and the arts.

We are also proud to sponsor the Royal Hibernian Academy’s (RHA) art education programme, which works with three schools in our local Ringsend area and allows children to learn about and interact with art.
