Public law is central to how society is governed and how the exercise of power is kept within its proper bounds or held to account. We are sponsoring the 2026 Annual Conference of the International Society of Public Law (ICON-S), taking place from June 29 – 1 July this year. Set to be the largest public law conference ever held in Ireland, the event will focus on the most pressing issues in constitutional, administrative, and international law.

As the premier public sector practice in Ireland, our Public, Regulatory and Investigations team has a deep understanding of the public and regulated sectors and the laws that govern them. We advise on everything from jurisdiction and procedure to strategic governance and how statutory bodies operate in practice, with particular expertise in judicial review, and leading practices in sectoral and professional regulation and discipline.

Our sponsorship reflects our commitment to informed legal debate at a time when public bodies face increasing obligations and scrutiny in an environment of evolving complexity. Hosted by the UCD Centre for Constitutional Studies and the UCD Sutherland School of Law, the conference will bring together more than 2,000 scholars, judges, practitioners, and students from around the world.
