2025 Energy Conference
Ireland stands at a pivotal moment in its energy transition, particularly in the context of achieving its 2030 targets. So this year, our annual Energy Conference explored how Ireland can strengthen its energy competitiveness and resilience to support long-term economic growth.
The event took place on Thursday 11 September at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, Dublin.
This high-impact morning was designed for senior professionals who want to understand the key business, policy and infrastructure challenges shaping the energy sector.
Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment, Darragh O’Brien TD, opened the event with a keynote address on the State’s energy policy and economic growth. He was followed by expert panels that explored policy and commercial levers across two key themes: managing demand efficiently and increasing generation capacity.
Energy Sector Survey
Two-thirds of energy stakeholders (67%) believe that Ireland should prioritise energy security over cheaper imported power, according to our audience poll results.
The survey also found that three-quarters (76%) of energy leaders believe consumers will pay more for secure, domestic energy over imported fossil fuels.
