About David
David is a Training Consultant and advisor in our Education Law team. A barrister, David initially trained as a teacher and worked for 20years as a school principal prior to assuming the role of president of the Irish Primary Principals Network (IPPN).
David has lectured extensively on the legal modules of post graduate management courses and has provided training courses for school leaders and teachers. He writes a regular column on legal issues impacting on schools for both the Irish Primary Principals Network (IPPN) and the National Association of Principals and Deputy Principals (NAPD).
David offers bespoke training packages for school leaders, staff, and management boards on issues related to Managing Challenging Behaviour, Data Protection & GDPR, Child Protection, Duty of Care, Dignity at Work, Code of Behaviour, Governance, and other areas of law relevant to school policy.
