We are fortunate to have one of the most important corporate art collections of Irish and International contemporary art in Dublin. Included in the collection is “Sahara Silk” by Darragh Muldowney.
Jevan Neilan, Senior Associate in our commercial team, tells us why he has chosen this piece:
"‘Sahara Silk’ (the right-hand of the two) by Darragh Muldowneyhas always captured my attention. For me, it's amazing that such a simple piece can hold so much depth. While its accompanying work might give the game away, the reality that this is a photograph is still surprising. As you observe it in isolation, the simplicity gives way to challenge your perception of the subject – sand or fabric. It also holds a great degree of calmness in both its tone and the flow of the lines."
Support of the visual arts is a large part of our CSR strategy and we are proud to sponsor the Royal Hibernian Academy’s (RHA) art education programme, which works with three schools in our local Ringsend area and allows children to learn about and interact with art.
