Advising Bertelsmann on Medicines.ie Acquisition

We were pleased to advise Bertelsmann on its acquisition of Medicines.ie, Ireland’s official source of information on authorised medicines.

Medicines.ie has been a trusted platform for healthcare professionals, offering access to up-to-date, regulator-approved product information. The acquisition was led by Bertelsmann’s subsidiary Cormeo, a digital health company specialising in medical information and transparency.

This acquisition strengthens Cormeo’s growing portfolio in Europe and supports its mission to improve the accessibility and reliability of health information. Medicines.ie will continue to operate in partnership with the Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association (IPHA), maintaining its strong legacy of stewardship and service to the healthcare community.
