We hosted our annual Financial Services Spring Briefing on Thursday 17 February.

Our keynote speaker, economist Seamus Coffey, former Chair of the Irish Fiscal Advisory Council, gave his views on the outlook for 2022. His informed commentary on the Irish economy provides insight that is essential for strategic planning in the year ahead.

Liam Flynn, co-head of our Financial Regulation team, presented on “Can financial regulation be pragmatic and business-friendly?” The presentation explored current trends in financial regulation in Ireland and globally, particularly focusing on moves in some jurisdictions to give financial regulators development mandates. Afterwards, Sarah Cloonan, Senior Associate, spoke on the Ireland for Finance strategy and its impact for Fintech.
