We hosted our third annual Commercial Contracts: What’s Market? webinar on Tuesday 14 June. Following on from the success of our 2020 and 2021 research and webinars on contract negotiation, market practice and what would be considered off-market, we are pleased to launch our 2022 survey of Irish and international in-house counsel.

During the webinar, our speakers outlined our experience of “what’s market” on key contract clauses in areas such as liability caps, indemnities, force majeure, good faith and more. We presented data from our own database of negotiated client agreements, as well as shared the results of the in-house counsel survey on these issues. We discussed the current legal position on these common contracting issues and gave key take-aways to assist with negotiating commercial contracts.
