Representative Matters

  • Advising an Irish pillar bank on a long term remediation project arising from its compliance with the EBA Outsourcing Guidelines, including drafting template agreements and remediation addenda, reviewing and remediating outsourcing agreements and overseeing a team negotiating with over 100 suppliers.

  • Advised the UK Government on an agreement to purchase the Pfizer BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine for the ultimate benefit of the COVAX Facility, a global risk-sharing mechanism for pooled procurement and equitable distribution of COVID-19 vaccines. Advised the UK Government on its contract for the purchase of a novel, COVID-19 specific, antiviral from Pfizer.

  • Acting as lead advisor to the General Counsel of an online gaming company. Dermot provided a hotline service in order to deliver quick and tailored advice to the GC on material legal risk issues in critical IT and general commercial contract matters.
