Niamh is a Partner in our Corporate team where she advises charities, social enterprises and other businesses on a wide range of corporate, restructuring and compliance issues. As well as advising on the full range of activities carried out by charities and social enterprises, Niamh’s areas of focus include establishing new and changing existing legal and constitutional structures for clients in those sectors.
Niamh advises her clients on their compliance with the Charities Act 2009, Companies Act 2014, governance codes, fundraising principles, HSE compliance codes and service arrangements. Niamh’s clients vary from large Irish hospitals, universities, schools, public bodies, religious organisations, international NGOs and household name charities to think tanks, campaigning organisations, social enterprises and local voluntary groups.

Niamh was appointed to the First Consultative Panel to the Charities Regulatory Authority and is a co-author of the Report of the Consultative Panel on Charitable Fundraising dated June 2017.
Niamh regularly provides seminars to her clients in the charity sector, most recently to her religious clients at a seminar jointly run with PwC, which advised the audience on their duties and responsibilities pursuant to the Charities Act 2009. Niamh also speaks at events hosted by Cii, Davy amd other parties in the charity sector.
