• Advised Children’s Health Ireland (CHI), on the employment aspects of a transfer of the functions of a research centre to CHI. This involved reviewing and advising on the transfer documentation, including negotiating employment warranties and indemnities.

• Acts as trusted advisor to wide range of multinational luxury retail clients. Kady has advised extensively on performance management issues, sickness absences, flexible working arrangements and redundancies.

• Advised a British multinational manufacturing company on the employment law aspects of a proposal to cease future accrual of benefits in the company’s longstanding pension scheme.

• Advised an award-winning automotive software group on the exit of the Managing Director of its Irish entity.

• Advised a multinational biopharmaceutical company in relation to the renegotiation of its existing outsourcing arrangements with key suppliers. This included offering commercial advice on the application of the EC (Protection of Employees on the Transfer of Undertakings) Regulations 2003 (TUPE) and negotiating warranties and indemnities to protect our client.

• Advised a major technology company in relation to the closure of its Irish workplace and its transition to fully remote working arrangements.

• Extensively advised on the application and implications of TUPE in relation to large-scale mergers and acquisitions.
