We are pleased to announced the appointment of Jennifer Henry as a partner in the firm’s Healthcare & Medical team. Jennifer practices primarily in the defence of medical malpractice High Court actions, helping hospitals and healthcare professionals with complex medical negligence claims. She also advises on risk management with a view to supporting clients in providing patient-centred care.

Jennifer specialises in the defence of complex catastrophic injury claims and is a skilled litigator with extensive experience in handling high value medical negligence actions on an urgent and fast tracked basis. She also represents clients at Inquests and before the Irish Medical Council, and has represented a number of major Irish hospitals on the instruction of the Clinical Indemnity Scheme of the State Claims Agency.

Jennifer was previously a senior associate with Mason Hayes & Curran LLP. Prior to joining to the firm, she worked for a well-known international law firm where she acted for many of the largest medical indemnifiers.
