We are delighted to announce the appointment of David Ormsby as a partner in our Dispute Resolution team.

David practices in corporate and personal insolvency law and all related litigation. He helps companies and their officers with solvency issues and acts for a variety of stakeholders on formal insolvency processes including examinership, compulsory and voluntary liquidation, receivership and bankruptcy.

David acts for secured creditors, unsecured creditors of companies in financial distress and insolvency practitioners. He has acted for various financial institutions on high value recoveries and on the defence of a wide range of proceedings issued by debtors.

Commenting on his appointment, Maurice Phelan, Head of Dispute Resolution, said “David’s appointment as partner has been universally well received by both clients and colleagues alike. A graduate of UCD and TCD, David was previously a senior associate with the firm.
