New Dispute Resolution Partner, Conor O'Leary

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Conor O’Leary to partner in our Dispute Resolution team.
Conor is a commercial litigator with a focus on complex investigations, often involving cybercrime or regulatory action. He has acted in some of the highest-profile commercial disputes to come before the courts in recent years. He takes a strategic approach, offering advice that helps clients resolve issues decisively and safeguard their long-term position.
Conor commented:
“I am delighted to have been asked to join the partnership at Mason Hayes & Curran. This would not have been possible without the unwavering support of my fantastic colleagues and clients. My focus has always been on providing clear, considered advice and managing disputes in a way that reflects our clients' priorities, and I look forward to continuing to do so in this new role.”
Maurice Phelan and Gerard Kelly, Co-Heads of our Dispute Resolution team, welcomed the appointment.
Maurice said:
“Conor’s practice is built on sound judgement and a measured approach. His promotion reflects the leadership he brings to difficult disputes and the confidence clients place in his advice.”
Gerard added:
“Our Dispute Resolution team is among the most experienced in Ireland, advising a broad range of domestic and international clients. Conor’s appointment further strengthens our capacity to deliver results in high-stakes litigation, where clarity and speed are critical.”
Conor holds degrees from University College Dublin (BCL) and University College Cork (LLM), and a diploma in commercial litigation (Law Society of Ireland). He is also a member of the International Association of Young Lawyers.
