Mason Hayes & Curran LLP was delighted to support the Virtual Calcutta run once again. This year, the run took take place between Friday 17 September and Sunday 26 September during which time participants would have ran cycled, hiked, or walked a collective distance of 30,000km.

The firm was delighted to be involved once more in the Calcutta Run and encouraged as many people as possible to get involved in aid of two wonderful causes:

  • The Hope Foundation is dedicated to promoting the protection of street and slum children in Calcutta and the most underprivileged in India. It works to effect immediate and lasting change in their lives.

  • Peter McVerry Trust provides a wide range of services including homeless and housing services, drug treatment and detox services, as well as under-18 residential services to the homeless in Dublin.

From this year’s run alone, €200,000 has been raised and over the last twenty-two years, over €4.6 million has been raised for the run’s charities. We need to do as much as we can to continue this great work.
