The shortlist for the IT & Fintech category of the 2022 Irish Times Innovation Awards has been announced. As the category sponsor, we are delighted to congratulate the three innovative companies who have progressed to the next stage of the judging process.

Galvia AI provides insight-led data to enhance decision-making at educational institutions, ensuring they are best positioned to serve and encourage students. The platform’s principal purpose is to help alleviate the high number of frequently asked questions from staff and students.

No Limit Branding, a new digital advertising company, provides personalised experiences to audiences in high-footfall locations. This is achieved through AI-based digital signage and analytics. Its devices detect and report the age, gender and emotions of the audience, measuring the number of ad views and allowing advertisers to get feedback from their campaigns.

Protex AI offers technology that seeks to improve safety in the workplace and reduce workplace accidents. Its AI-powered technology enables businesses to gain greater visibility of unsafe behaviours in their facilities. It tracks near misses using AI vision, so that customers have more reliable data to identify when things are starting to slip.

The Irish Times Innovation Awards recognise the best in business ideas through which public or private sector organisations in Ireland can showcase winning service, product, operational, or social innovations.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Dublin on November 9. Visit the Irish Times website for more details on the shortlisted companies.
