We are delighted to see Bláthú, the new mural by East Wall artist Sean Atmos, come to life on our gable wall at Barrow Street.

Created as part of Google’s regeneration of Bolands Mills, this nine-storey immersive artwork is now the largest mural in Ireland by surface area. We were pleased to work closely with Google throughout the process, contributing to a project that brings new colour and energy to our building and the wider neighbourhood.

Bláthú, which is Irish for "to bloom", is more than a large-scale painting. It is a multisensory, AR-enabled piece inspired by the architectural lines of Bolands Mills and the natural beauty of nearby Irishtown Nature Park.

Accessibility was central throughout. Sean worked with AsIAm and NIRP to support enjoyment for all, including neurodivergent people and those with sensory, hearing or vision differences. The colours, form and flow aim to bring calm and aid focus.

We look forward to the launch of the companion Augmented Reality app later this month, which will offer an enhanced digital experience of the mural.
