Kevin Hoy


Kevin is the Head of our Real Estate Law team, dealing in particular with major projects, Real Estate finance, the public sector and charities.

A previous Head of Financial Services, Kevin advises buyers and sellers of loan portfolios and real estate portfolios. He established our Energy practice, which is now recognised as the market leader in renewables. 

Kevin also advises various public sector bodies including hospitals and universities on their real estate and related needs. He acts for numerous trusts, charities and not for profit organisations. He is a member of the national committee of the Irish branch of the Urban Land Institute, as well as the Conveyancing Committee of the Law Society of Ireland. Kevin has lectured and written on a variety of Real Estate related topics.

  • Advising Hines on the acquisition, management and development of Cherrywood.
  • Advising a major Irish bank on loan and property portfolio transactions.
  • Acting for a third level institution on its property assets, updating title information, documenting third party access and preparing for future sales and acquisitions.
