In the media: young professionals have their say on new technology

News Firmwide 22 Jun 2026

Céline Dakik, one of our trainee solicitors, recently contributed to an Irish Times article on the impact of artificial intelligence on early career professionals.

Céline discussed the growing role of AI in the workplace and highlighted the importance of clear guardrails around its use.

She noted that, both at Blackhall Place and within the firm, the focus is on using AI safely and professionally, with proper attention to confidentiality and transparency. She said:

I can’t see it replacing lawyers. I think it will just be a very effective tool for them, like a very efficient assistant. I know a lot of people are saying: ‘AI is coming for my job’, but I’m not worried by it at all.”
