We hosted our annual AGM Season 2021 webinar on Thursday 9 December.

At this webinar, we launched the Mason Hayes & Curran LLP AGM Season 2021 Report which provides an in-depth analysis and explanation of the issues that have arisen at annual general meetings of Irish listed companies in the 2021 season. We also reflected on the effect on shareholder engagement following the migration to the Euroclear intermediated system of share ownership and of the hybrid AGMs held during 2020/21. Our guest speaker from leading proxy advisory and governance firm Glass Lewis reflected on the issues which have been prominent in the 2021 AGM season for Irish listed companies and on the issues likely to have prominence in 2022.
