• • Assisted with the preparation of a complex suite of documents ahead of a sophisticated acquisition project which involved the handing over of leadership of two separate companies, including a changeover of directors, members, and company secretaries, updating of M&A, change of name and change of registered office of the companies. Assisted senior colleagues to ensure that all documents were correctly executed, recorded, and submitted to the CRO and Charities Regulator, as necessary.
  • Advised a sports club on updating a complex M&A, adoption by its members and filing in the CRO.
  • Part of a team that advised a statutory body on an acquisition project. Prepared first drafts of all documents including the Transfer Agreement and associated documentation and email and letter correspondence with key parties.
  • Regularly liaises with the Charities Regulator, including overseeing the online portals of charity clients on an ongoing basis to monitor the progress of submitted applications, and to check for new correspondence from the Regulator.
  • Assisted with the preparation and updating of various sets of presentation slides for events including Governance Clinics and induction training for new charity trustees.
