About Aislinn
Aislinn is a partner on our Healthcare and Medical Law team. She specialises in the defence of complex catastrophic injury cases and has expertise in defending medical negligence and fast-tracked claims including cases involving neurosurgical injuries, delayed diagnosis, surgical error, informed consent and cervical smear screening. She is known for her analytical clarity and her ability to distil complex and overlapping issues into a structured and considered analysis.
Aislinn has provided medico legal advice to hospitals and medical practitioners including issues relating to consent, ethics, clinical and corporate governance, patient complaints, capacity, data protection and retention of records. She has also advised clients in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device and general consumer product sectors on various regulatory matters and litigation risk.
Aislinn draws on her understanding of the challenges facing healthcare practitioners and healthcare organisations combined with her corporate healthcare advisory experience, to support them through legal and operational matters that arise in an increasingly demanding and regulated environment.
