Aimée Lenehan is Of Counsel in our Medical Law team.
With nearly 20 years of experience in medical law, Aimée is a trusted advisor and experienced advocate within the healthcare sector with significant experience in all aspects of healthcare litigation.
Aimée has particular expertise in defending complex medical negligence claims before the Irish High Court including cases involving catastrophic injury, delayed diagnosis, surgical error, informed consent and cervical smear litigation.
In a previous role she represented Consultants and GPs on behalf of the world’s largest indemnifier both in High Court litigation and before the Medical Council Fitness to Practice Inquiries. This blend of specialist litigation and advisory work over 20 years has given Aimée a comprehensive understanding of the challenges facing healthcare professional and institutions alike, both in Ireland and internationally.
