As a progressive law firm,
we believe that learning from global thought leaders is essential. It's important for personal development, and for providing the best possible advice and
service to our clients. That’s why we are pleased to support the Royal Irish
Academy (RIA) Discourse Series, the oldest and most renowned series of talks in
Ireland. Dating back to 1786, Academy discourses were reserved for the most
distinguished academics to first reveal and discuss their work in public.
The next RIA discourse will be held virtually on Thursday 28 April with Professor Sir Adrian Smith, President of the Royal Society, in conversation with Orla Feely MRIA, Vice President for Research, Innovation and Impact at UCD.
Topic: The Future of Higher Education
Date: 28 April 2022

The conversation will examine the impact on higher education of digitalisation and globalisation. It will consider the funding and organisation of higher education and research and the nature and role of leadership in higher education. As sponsors, we have a number of complimentary places for clients at this webinar. To attend, please contact events@mhc.ie.
