We are fortunate to have one of the most important corporate art collections of Irish and International contemporary art in Dublin. Included in the collection is "View from the Canal" by Bartosz Kolata.
Andrea Rattigan, Legal Secretary on our Corporate team, has chosen this piece as her favourite from our art collection and she explains why:
"I've always loved the Grand Canal Dock area – it's been part of my neighbourhood for 14 years of working at MHC. Looking at this painting reminds me of Grand Canal Dock old and new – the Bolands Flour Mills, established just over 150 years ago, now being regenerated, and the new Grand Canal Dock with its vibrant multi-cultural community, reflected in the painting by the MHC offices, and the link between Ireland yesterday and today."
Support of visual arts is a core part of our CSR strategy. Our office holds one of the most important private corporate collections of Irish and international contemporary art. The collection now stands at almost 200 pieces and includes a specially commissioned Corban Walker sculpture in the building’s atrium.
