About Shauna
Shauna Colgan is a Knowledge Lawyer within the Employment & Benefits team.
Shauna is a qualified barrister with five years of commercial litigation experience, practising at the Bar of Ireland. Before joining the firm, she also held the position of Programme Director at the country’s largest private college and lectured at numerous third level colleges and professional institutions, including the Law Society on its PPCI and PPCII courses.
Shauna authored the second edition of the Contract Law Nutshell textbook (2024) and was a contributor to the Arthur Cox Employment Law Yearbook for 2022 and 2023. Her work has been published by the Irish Journal of Family Law, the Commercial Law Practitioner and other academic journals.
Shauna supports the Employment & Benefits team through legal research, creating and maintaining key resources (e.g. precedents), tracking legal changes, providing training on developments in the law, and facilitating knowledge sharing.
