Elizabeth (‘Liz’) is a partner in our Debt Recovery team. She has deep and wide ranging experience in advising on complex commercial disputes on issues ranging from credit insurance, fraud, product liability and professional negligence. Prior to embarking on her commercial career, Liz advised charitable clients appearing before State Inquires, advising individuals involved on their rights and duties, fair procedures and due process. She has also managed large scale bulk litigation on behalf of charitable bodies, as well as commercial entities.
Liz is currently managing a team within the firm, who recover debt and enforce rights for a large public sector client. She further specialises in complex enforcement procedures and remedies, such as bankruptcy, fraudulent transfers, severance of joint tenancies, appointment of a receivers by way of equitable execution, discovery in aid of execution, chargeable shares and other tools to actually assist creditors convert judgments to cash. She continues to maintain a practice in resolving commercial disputes and pursuing enforcement such as bankruptcy.

Acting for a large public sector client in asserting statutory rights and enforcement in High Court and Court of Appeal.
Enforcing judgments for a large public sector client by applying to appoint a receiver by way of equitable execution over pension assets and in the severance of joint tenancies to optimise the security held over property.
Pursuit of bankruptcy against a serial lay litigant on behalf of a national banking client through High Court and Court of Appeal.
Acting for a bank in the High Court with regard to alleged forgery of security documents offered in respect of a mortgage.
Coordinating a major project for a national banking client national banking client to issue Circuit Court proceedings simultaneously across the State for repossession on foot of the enactment of the 2013 Land & Conveyancing Law Reform Act.
Acting for a large construction client on bulk litigation in the High Court re specific performance & other remedies against purchasers.
Provision of training in legal process and effective enforcement remedies for staff of a large public sector client.
