About Barbara
Barbara is a knowledge lawyer supporting our Financial Services team, focusing on financial regulation. Barbara works closely with fee earners to provide best-in-class financial services know how, training, market updates and regulatory intelligence.
Barbara joined the firm in 2023 with 16 years’ experience in regulatory compliance in the Irish financial services sector. During her career in financial services, Barbara specialised in financial crime prevention, governance and oversight, and implementing regulatory change.
She provides support across the Financial Services department’s key practice areas including Financial Regulation, Investment Funds, Structured Finance & Securitisation and Debt Capital Markets. Barbara delivers comprehensive, real-time market surveillance and horizon scanning to capture emerging developments of importance to the firm and our clients. She is also involved in various firmwide knowledge sharing initiatives as part of the wider knowledge team.
