Built Environment Summit 2026

Ireland’s future economic growth is reaching a crunch point. The gap in infrastructure is impossible to ignore. The real question is whether Ireland can move beyond analysis and finally deliver the policy changes, expertise and investment needed to turn the corner.

The issues are well known. What comes next is the difficult part: implementing the reforms that will actually unlock and accelerate delivery.

We will also discuss challenges and opportunities facing funders, developers and investors in the real estate finance market in 2026.

Thursday 21 May 2026 | 8:30am – 11:30am | The Round Room at the Mansion House

Why attend?
The summit will bring together senior figures from across the market to discuss what needs to happen now to address Ireland’s infrastructure deficit, alongside the key themes facing the real estate finance market this year.

Economic insights
Ronan Lyons, Head of Economics at Trinity College Dublin, will outline the key economic and social data points that frame the discussion.

Strategic perspectives from industry leaders
Sean O’Driscoll, Chair of the ESRI and member of the Government’s 2025 Accelerating Infrastructure Task Force, will share his perspective on the reforms necessary to accelerate delivery.

The summit will be moderated by broadcaster Anton Savage.
