Natasha McKenna


Natasha is a partner in our Public & Administrative Law team. She has extensive experience advising clients in relation to administrative law, health care law, and civil litigation matters. Natasha specialises in advising health authorities in relation to child protection, juvenile criminal justice, adoption, wards of court applications and mental health issues.

Natasha has represented and advised public and private clients in civil and criminal litigation and dispute resolution in the Supreme, High, Circuit and District Courts where she advocates on their behalf. She has also advised local authorities in the UK with regards to the placement of children in this jurisdiction.

Representative Matters

  • Advised on the exercise by the High Court of its inherent jurisdiction in the area of the Civil Detention of Minors.
  • Advised on the Judicial Review proceedings before the High Court and Supreme Court relating to the Disclosure of historical files.
  • Advised on the Hague Convention Proceedings before the Supreme Court with regard to child abduction.
