Eoin is a Senior Associate in our Construction team specialising in Planning and Environmental law. He advises on all contentious planning and environmental matters across the firm, with a particular focus on renewable energy, projects and real estate.
Eoin has extensive contentious and non-contentious experience of planning and environmental matters having practiced as senior solicitor with a national utility company, the Chief State Solicitor’s Office, and in Brussels with ClientEarth, Europe’s leading environmental law organisation. His broad litigation experience includes acting for clients in the superior courts in Ireland and Australia, where he practiced previously as a litigation lawyer. He has advised on the planning and environmental aspects of some of Ireland’s most significant infrastructure projects in the Energy and Telecommunications sectors.

Acting for a national utility company in successful Commercial Court proceedings concerning a challenge to planning permission for an important electricity transmission project in the west of Ireland.
Acting for the Environmental Protection Agency in relation to financial provision (CRAMP and ELRA) for environmental pollution events.
