Adrian Lennon


Adrian is a partner in our Public and Administrative Law team, specialising in Childcare Law and Regulatory Criminal Law. Adrian has broad experience in litigation, acting in defence of clients as well as acting for the prosecution. He regularly advises a number of government agencies on issues such as prosecution processes and represents these agencies in all court jurisdictions. 

Adrian also advises commercial and corporate clients on Criminal Law issues and regularly provides advice and advocacy services to one of the largest government departments on an on-going and acute basis.

Representative Matters

  • Developed a bespoke prosecution system for a government agency to utilise a piece of legislation that had not previously been used.
  • Defended a criminal prosecution brought by the Gardai involving six Defendants, resulting in the acquittal of all six individuals.
  • Represented client in criminal defence commencing in the District Court, leading to judicial review proceedings that were determined by the Supreme Court. This case resulted in an alteration of a criminal law principle.
