We are pleased to have represented Soapbox Labs in a €1.2 million fund raise. This seed funding was raised from a consortium of investors including Elkstone Capital, Enterprise Ireland and Astia Angels.
Soapbox Labs CEO, Dr. Patricia Scanlon said, “The investment will enable us to accelerate our product development roadmap and cement our position as a world leader in speech technology for children.”
She added “Working with MHC was really key for us in ensuring a smooth transaction. I have worked with them from an early stage of the company’s development (word of mouth led me to them), and I felt I was in very safe hands. Justin McKenna was very savvy and commercial to deal with, and I was very happy to have him in my corner, especially as it was a busy time in the business itself. It was also a good-humoured process, which is really important to us.”
SoapBox Labs is a highly innovative Dublin-based start-up which develops speech assessment and recognition solutions specifically for children’s voices. To learn more about Soapbox Labs’ journey towards securing seed funding, click here.
