We were delighted to be the sole legal sponsor of the inaugural ULI Ireland Conference 2017 which took place on Thursday 19 October in the Convention Centre Dublin. The conference looked at Urban Development – Shaping the Future of Ireland, focusing on:

  • City governance, policy design, development framework, and strategic vision;
  • Residential development, density, and solutions to housing supply;
  • City infrastructure, smart cities/transport, and technology.

Over 200 delegates attended the conference, which featured a keynote address from Governor Martin O’Malley, former Governor of Maryland, former Mayor of Baltimore, and 2016 U.S. Democratic presidential candidate on using data and analytics to bring innovation to city government.

Head of Real Estate, Kevin Hoy, moderated a session on “The Future of City Governance: How Policymaking and Strategic Vision Impact Urban Development”.
