Leading law firm Mason Hayes & Curran has announced the appointment of Lisa Joyce as a partner in their Public & Administrative Law team.
Lisa primarily advises public and regulatory bodies, professional disciplinary bodies and private clients on dispute avoidance and management in the regulatory sphere. This includes advising on judicial review proceedings, statutory appeals and applications as well as statutory investigations and inquiries.
She has a particular focus on financial services regulation, public law litigation and information law, advising extensively on freedom of information, access to environmental information and data protection legislation.
She has advised the Central Bank of Ireland on key contentious matters of financial regulatory law. She also advises the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) on an ongoing basis in relation to its implementation and administration of sustainable energy schemes. This includes representing SEAI in defending statutory appeals against its regulatory decisions pursuant to these schemes.

A graduate of the National University of Ireland Galway, Lisa is also the joint author of the Mason Hayes & Curran Freedom of Information Sourcebook. She was previously a senior associate with the firm.
