We are pleased to announce the appointment of William Carmody as head of Financial Services.
Will is a partner in the firm’s Financial Services team. The team works with financial institutions (bank and non-bank) and corporates on secured corporate lending, complex debt restructuring, project finance, leveraged and acquisition finance, commercial real estate finance, structured finance (including debt capital markets) and Irish law issues in multi-jurisdictional finance transactions. Will takes over from Christine O’Donovan, who will continue in her role as head of Mason Hayes & Curran’s award-winning International Asset Finance team.
Will has deep experience advising and implementing a broad range of debt based transactions and provides strategic advice to lenders, borrowers and investors. His clients include domestic and international banks and finance houses, mezzanine lenders, borrowers, private equity and institutional investors and Government. Will joined the firm in 2002 and he is recognised for his particular expertise in relation to the financing and development of renewable energy projects.
