We are delighted to be a silver sponsor of the 2016 CoderDojo Coolest Projects Awards. The Awards will be taking place in the RDS on 18 June 2016 and MHC's Avril Daly and Nicholas Metcalf will be acting as judges on the day.
Last year there were over 500 projects demoed by a combination of teams and individuals from Dojos all across Europe, and this year's event is expected to be even bigger. The awards have become Ireland’s largest junior tech event with the projects and impact of this event only getting better and more inspirational.
This year's awards will also see Launch’d in action for the first time. This event was created to spark and support the next evolution of technology innovations that will help shape future innovators and CoderDojo members as a whole. The aim is to bring together entrepreneurs, investors, industry, researchers, students, government and members of the public to connect create a path for Coolest Project members to launch their projects.
The growth of the awards now highlights the true potential of the CoderDojo movement and how this generation is going to change Ireland’s innovation and technology landscape.
Head of Technology Law, Philip Nolan commented on the importance of supporting the awards, “We’re really excited to be part of CoderDojo Coolest Projects Awards and Launch’d this year. As Ireland’s leading technology law firm, we’re delighted to see the next generation of tech innovators side by side with global tech leaders in a unique environment. Our team is looking forward to seeing the projects and we wish everyone the best of luck!”
