Mark Adair delivered a presentation on Understanding What’s Next After Brexit: How will it affect the World Market, the EU Market and the Texas Market? at the Austin offices of McGinnis Lochridge on 24 August 2016.

Other speakers at the event included Gerard Hayes and Sean Storan from the Texas office of IDA Ireland and McGinnis Lochridge Partners Phillip Schmandt and Melissa Salhab Sykes.

Among the discussion points of interest were the effects of Brexit on commercial contracts, data protection rules, employment law, EU funding for projects and intellectual property rights. The speakers examined how Ireland has seen a surge in UK companies enquiring about re-locating their European operations to Ireland. The audience comprised of Texas-based and global companies.
