Mason Hayes & Curran is ranked as one of the top firms for M&A in Ireland

The recent report by Mergermarket on legal advisers for M&A activity in Ireland during 2010 ranked Mason Hayes & Curran 5th for number of disclosed M&A transactions. According to the report the firm was involved in 9 major disclosed deals (excess of US$5m) in 2010 with total aggregate value for the deals of circa €2bn.

Some of the major Irish deals included in the ranking were as follows:

Public takeover of Skillsoft by Berkshire Partners LLC, Advent International Corporation and Bain Capital Partners LLC.
Acquisition of Bioniche Pharma Holdings Limited by Mylan Inc.
Acquisition of ChipSensors Limited by Silicon Labs Inc.
Acquisition of Sunseeker International by FL Partners.
