Mason Hayes & Curran Expands Real Estate Team

We are delighted to announce the expansion of our real estate team with the appointment of Rachel Carney and Tom Davy as partners. Their appointment increases the number of partners on the team to 6, making it one of the biggest teams in Ireland.

Tom Davy acts in the acquisition, leasing and disposal of commercial property, with a particular focus on State and institutional clients, FDI companies and investment property. He advises RBS/Ulster Bank on the management of its portfolio of branches and business centres in Ireland, and he acts for a number of State bodies including IDA Ireland, the Legal Aid Board and the National Disability Authority. Tom recently advised Liberty Insurance, Twitter and ZeniMax on the real estate aspects of their establishment in Ireland.
Rachel Carney acts for a wide range of clients in the sale, acquisition and development of commercial and residential properties. She acts for a number of financial institutions, insolvency practitioners, landlords, tenants and investors. Rachel has a particular focus on planning and has advised a number of clients on the planning aspects of unfinished developments and in the renewable energy sector for wind farm developments. In addition, Rachel advises on the property aspects of share sales, acquisitions and disposals. Her clients include SSE Renewables and acting for Halcyon Resorts and Hotels in the purchase of Sheen Falls Lodge.

They act for a diverse range of clients including banks, state agencies, retailers, multinationals, property investors and the voluntary sector.
